The ALi M3101E is a cost effective, single-chip solution for DVB-T set-top box (STB) applications. The M3101E has an embedded high performance CPU, COFDM demodulator, an embedded TV encoder and accelerator for MPEG/JPEG decoding. Other major function blocks include SDRAM/Flash memory controller, 2-channel Audio DAC and SPDIF digital audio interface, USB host controller, 7816 interface, ATA host controller, and dedicated display engine for STB playback. It could be used for DVB-T platform solution for the DVB-T PVR, DVB-T CA/CI, DVB-T Twin tuner applications.
